Meet the People Behind the Care

Our team is here to build relationships, not just complete tasks. They know names, remember preferences, and take the time to truly understand the residents they serve. Under new ownership and with improved care standards, we’ve assembled a team that reflects our values: dignity, trust, and quality at every level.

Great care doesn’t happen by accident; it’s delivered by real people who show up with intention, respect, and commitment.

Our Leadership

Our leadership and care team are at the heart of everything we do. They’re dedicated to knowing you or your loved one, honoring each person’s dignity, and providing compassionate care every single day.

Tristyn Borden

Family & Community Advisor

My path into senior living is rooted in family, service, and a lifelong commitment to caring for others. Raised closely with my grandparents, I developed a deep respect for older generations and the role they play in shaping families and communities. While attending college more than 2,000 miles from my home on Maui, my grandmother was diagnosed with early-stage dementia. This experience led to an early focus on understanding dementia care and family support, shaping a clear sense of purpose within senior living.

After graduating in 2020 during the height of COVID, I returned home to help support my grandparents. Following the sudden passing of my grandfather, I relocated to Utah with my grandmother, where personal experience evolved into a professional calling. A role in memory care introduced the meaningful relationships formed with residents and families and reinforced the importance of compassionate, dignity-centered care.

With over four years of experience in assisted living, I bring a strong background in community engagement and service. This includes involvement with National Guard community programs, homeless outreach on Maui, youth mentoring, and continued volunteer work with the Alzheimer’s Association of Utah. I am a certified Assisted Living Administrator and remain committed to continuous learning and advocacy within senior care.

Outside of work, I value wellness, creativity, and connection. Staying active, spending time outdoors, traveling to visit loved ones, and engaging in hands-on creative projects help inform a thoughtful, balanced approach to leadership. At Aspen Alcove, this perspective supports a shared commitment to providing residents and families with respect, compassion, and a true sense of home.”
